Guides & Legal Requirements
"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world"
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage which is the legal requirements for the Early years. Please read on for further information.
At our setting, we have many policies covering all areas. Due to a large number of policies and procedures we have in place, we have added a small selection of the policies regarding safeguarding and health and safety. All policies and procedures are available to read in the setting.

Prevent Duty and British Values in the Early Years
The fundamental British values of democracy, rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance for those with different faiths and beliefs are already implicitly embedded in the 2014 Early Years Foundation Stage.
Separately, the Counter Terrorism and Security Act also places a duty on early years providers “to have due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism” (the Prevent duty). The duty is came into effect in July 2015.
